What we collect and why

Newsletter signups — your email address, passed to Sender.net (hosted in the EU) so we can send you emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. Signing up to the newsletter is optional.

Orders — your name, address, email, phone, and order details, processed through Shopify to fulfil your purchase. Payment card details are handled by Shopify's payment processor — we never see or store them.

Website traffic data — we use Plausible (hosted in the EU) to understand aggregate website traffic. This service does not use cookies and does not track or identify individual users. We track campaign performance using UTM parameters (short tags appended to URLs) which help us understand which links brought visitors to our site — including from newsletter emails. No personal data is collected through this analytics tool.

Website server logs — standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider, Arachsys, for security and site operation.

Strata's web interface — runs entirely on your device. It does not send any data to our servers, and we do not collect, store, or have access to any information you enter or generate within it.

Lawful basis

UK GDPR Article 13 (1)(c) requires us to state the lawful basis for each processing activity:

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
