Introducing Strata
Strata takes concepts from modular synthesizers and software such as Max, Pure Data, and Reaktor and puts them into a pedalboard friendly box for you to use live. It acts as a MIDI alchemist, mixing and transmuting your inputs (buttons, expression pedals, pitch and playing dynamics, and other MIDI devices) into layers of dynamic parameter control to manipulate your effects in new and interesting ways. Using the friendly, graphical, web editor, you can configure Strata to...- Gradually ramp an effect in over a number of beats when you press a footswitch
- Create step sequencers driven by LFOs and control their speeds from an expression pedal
- Drive multiple parameters from a single expression pedal, staging them over different ranges of the pedal travel
- Listen to your playing and use your pitch and dynamics to control effects
- All of the above at once, and more, for as many inputs and parameters as you need
