Welcome to Fenland Pedals, we make interesting and unusual MIDI tools to supercharge your pedalboard, with a focus on enabling creative expression and experimentation. Our first product, Strata, is currently in development - follow along as we build and play with something new! Introducing Strata
Strata takes ideas from modular synthesizers and software such as Max, Pure Data, and Reaktor and puts them into a pedalboard friendly box for you to use live. Configured through a friendly web interface, Strata provides a virtual patching environment where you can connect your real-time inputs to different effects parameters across your pedalboard. Inputs can come from expression pedals, buttons, playing dynamics (how hard you're digging in, or where in the register you're playing), and other MIDI devices. These can be combined with a flexible choice of oscillators, step sequencers, and other processing operations, and then routed to an unlimited number of MIDI control messages. Patches in Strata can be as simple or complex as you like - from a single expression pedal driving one or two effects parameters up to sophisticated multi-layered designs with multiple linked devices, time based sequencers and different expression pedal zones. 
Start simple, control the speed of a sine wave LFO with your expression pedal, setting tempo explicitly or receiving MIDI clock from another device
